At 214g (mens US 8.5), the 005 is the lightest super shoe ever crafted for trail running. Through obsessive iterating of the shoe, we were able to shave weight in every possible area without sacrificing performance or durability. A new open mesh Bio-Dyneema decreases weight while increasing breathability. 4mm Dyneema recycled laces vs. our standard 5mm laces reduce weight. A brand new norda full-length soleplate design featuring the worlds first release of Vibram Megagrip Elite, the grippiest trail running compound ever developed by Vibram. A pure Arnitel midsole allows for a full stack super shoe experience at a suspiciously light weight.
SPEED
The 005 features an entirely pure Arnitel (TPEE) midsole unlike any shoe ever has before. Our Arnitel midsole outperforms other midsole foam materials in rebound weighted by foam density.It also outlasts other high-performance midsole foam materials that can only perform at peak conditions for a very limited time.This allows for the 005 to be incredibly lightweight and responsive while remaining highly durable.
DURABILITY
While most super shoes are engineered for race day, the 005 is engineered for race days plural. The combined use of the worlds most advanced materials and compounds allows for sustained super shoe performance over an unparalleled amount of mileage through all terrain and conditions.
BREATHABILITY
An open mesh Bio-Dyneema and recycled upper is impossibly strong and featherlight. The weave pattern allows for maximum breathability and rapid water drainage. The 005 features a smooth microsuede tongue that molds to the foot and is detailed with perforation to reduce heat.
The product's cooling effect is achieved through strategic material selection and perforation placement, running gym shoes.
